New to this...patience please!

Ok...I'm attempting to learn how to blog. This is not easy considering we live in the middle of NOWHERE and don't have the internet. Luckily my mother-in-law has DSL, so maybe I'll have a chance of doing this. Wish me luck. If you've got tips, let me know!
